What are the Swansea Bay Business Awards?

The Swansea Bay Business Awards have been designed to recognise and champion businesses making waves across the Swansea Bay region of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire. The event will honour those succeeding within their sectors highlighting creativity, innovation, business resilience, growth and sustainability.
When will nominations open and close?

Nominations open on Monday July 22nd, and will remain open until Monday September 30th. During this time businesses are welcome to register. Businesses are welcome to pre-register before voting open to have regular updates by clicking here.
Who can enter?

Businesses of all shapes and sizes can enter, though they must have a base in the Swansea Bay regions of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire.
Can I nominate a business?

Of course! If you know a business that’s making waves in our region then please head to our nominate page. They will then be invited to register through our SBBA portal.
How do I register my business?

Businesses must register through the SBBA Portal - please head to the ''enter'' page of our website during the nomination period. You must agree with the terms and conditions of the event upon registration.
Are there different categories?

Yes, we have designed a wealth of categories to shine a light on every sector of the business community. Please head to our ''awards category'' page for further information.
How are shortlists chosen?

Our independent panel of judges includes experts in their respective business fields. The panel will evaluate each entry, measured against the criteria of each category. The process is unbiased, with each business being evaluated on the merits of its application and subsidiary / publicly available information. A shortlist will then be created, and winners chosen thereafter.
When will shortlists be announced?

Shortlists will be announced in December 2024. Each shortlisted company will be contacted directly, along with press releases and social multi platform media announcements.
Can I partner or sponsor the event?

Can I attend the Swansea Bay Business Award Ceremony?

Of course! We will have a limited number of additional tables for sale for the event. Please subscribe / register for release dates and further information.

How to enter

Entry is made through The Swansea Bay Business Awards portal. We welcome nominations from the public, so please click here to nominate a business. Businesses receiving a nomination will be invited to register.

All businesses will need to register through the portal. To put your business forward you will be asked a series of questions, so please ensure you have the full authority of the company to do so. Upon registration you will be asked to agree to the SBBA T&C's, and agree that the information submitted can be put forward to our independent judging panel.
